New Student (ROAR) Orientation gives incoming freshmen students an opportunity to learn about 91³Ô¹Ï services, meet classmates, meet with advising, and network with GovStateÌýstaff. All incoming students must attend ROAR Orientation to help transition students in their first year as a college students.

  • What is the Freshmen Orientation experience?

    During New Student Orientation, incoming freshmen students will have the opportunity to learn about the various resources and services 91³Ô¹Ï offers. Students and their families will have a chance to discover the various opportunities provided at 91³Ô¹Ï including involvement in student organizations, volunteer opportunities, support services, and many other aspects of being a 91³Ô¹Ï student.Ìý

    Let's Get Ready to R.O.A.R. (Resources, Orientation, Advising, and Registration All new freshmen to 91³Ô¹Ï are required to attend our R.O.A.R. Freshman Orientation program. R.O.A.R. will focus on giving you all the important information you need to become a 91³Ô¹Ï Jaguar including a focus on resources, orientation, advising, and registration. Students and their families will have a chance to discover the various opportunities provided at 91³Ô¹Ï including involvement in student organizations, volunteer opportunities, support services, and many other aspects of being a 91³Ô¹Ï student.
