Financial Services

The Office of Financial Services & Comptroller provides cash management services, manages investments and oversees credit card merchant services. Department responsibilities include monitoring daily cash needs, initiating and approving electronic bank transactions, tracking and issuing debt service payments, coordinating incoming and outgoing international exchange transactions, processing payroll payments, handling travel reimbursements and serving as liaison to all financial partners with the University.

The University Procurement Office is designated to obtain commodities, equipment, and services to support the educational mission of GSU. By following sound business methods consistent with the Higher Education Procurement Rules, the Illinois Procurement Code, and other applicable state and federal regulations. The University Purchasing Division is available to assist departments in procurement activities.

Facilities Development & Management is a multi-disciplined department whose mission is to provide and maintain responsible and effective stewardship of GSU’s physical environment in order to accommodate, enhance and support the process of learning, teaching, working, research and public services to the university and to the community.

The mission of GSU's Information Technology Services Department is to support the university's academic and administrative activities by providing high-quality computing, networking, and telecommunications services in a manner that is both efficient and effective.
